Our story
Built on the water that raised us.
Waka is the Māori word for canoe — the vessel that carries you onto the water. We're a Christchurch company on the edge of Banks Peninsula, where harbours, rivers and cold southern seas are part of everyday life.
We started bundling kits because we were tired of watching first-timers leave the shop with half of what they needed. A kit gets you on the water with everything aboard — and nothing missing.
